The mountains were really out today
The view to the west was ridiculous this morning. Czech it:

They are the Olympic Mountains. Excuse the pole in the middle of the picture, please. Also excuse the slightly weird colors. My camera doesn’t know what to do with natural light any more!
I have never seen the mountains like this before. It made for a stunning trip back from the Puget Sound Blood Center, where I bled for charity this morning. It’s kind of cold today, certainly below freezing. I know it’s cold enough to freeze water because I slipped on a patch of smooth ice whilst strolling down First Hill. My feet flew out from under me and I proceeded to slide gracefully along the ice on my back for a yard or so! It was definitely one of the better falls I’ve performed lately. Also, it was entirely painless, because I was wearing so many layers of clothing.
And here is something even more ridiculous:

A giant cone of lights (never to be confused with a light-cone) is perched atop the Space Needle for Christmas! This probably isn’t the dumbest thing I’ve ever seen, but it’s up there.
